Run .EXE Extension File Or Windows Software In Linux Ubuntu



Today I am writing about how to run windows applications or windows software in linux/ubuntu.
Last year I am using windows7 operating system and I am so familiar with it but after when I introduced to Linux/ ubuntu  still I am using ubuntu as we know that when we are habitat to one thing so it is not easy to drop that as same to me.
Today I have a project in C language in my college and In Linux operating system I can not run the Dev C++  as like windows. I have to make my program in windows but the problem is I don't have windows in my laptop so I found out that Linux software to run windows application.

How To Run Windows Software

In Linux/Ubuntu There Is A Platform Software That Runs The Windows Application.


  1. First you have to open ubuntu software centre.
  2. Search for wine.
  3. There is a application at the top to run the windows applications.
  4. Download and install that application.
  5. After the go to the windows software that you want to run.
  6. Right click on the setup and select the option "Wine windows program loader" and configure as like the windows.
