Change Default applications:Ubuntu

In Ubuntu there are many amazing applications for users. User can allow to download and install these app from Ubuntu software center. In the software market users can install many software of it's own use. But some times we have a problem the Ubuntu have the default applications to run the particular format and file.
(ex.the .mkv, .3gp, and other video type format is set in the inbuilt movie player).
If we are not satisfied with this application so we want to change it. so i have the solution of that just follow these steps.

  1. Click the power button in the upper right corner. 
  2. Click 'About the computer', the window appears on the screen.
  3. Click 'Default applications'.
  4. Set the default application given like web,mail and many other.


You can also change the removable media like you music player, photos and many other applications. this help you to explore things faster and easily.
